Club Plates

Hi All, … … … (inspired by Small Ford Sunday)
Out of interest, today i downloaded a vic roads Club Permit Application, Can you advise the cost of
a 90 & 45 day permit.? … seems a smart way to go, spend the saving on car bits, a current RWC
issued in Victoria is required or, an official letter from your club/association confirming vehicle safety.
Does RSOC Vic. have a confirming vehicle safety officer.? … Street Rods on initial issue require a
vic roads street rod inspection report.! … I noticed a neat "T" dark purple metal flake, with a flat head V8
on club plates, 5 weeks later same rod wearing a 5 litre V8 with a huge blower. … Does that mean i must
put the 1300 back in my Mk1 van, and take out the 2 Litre Pinto and put it back when i have the plates.?

Ebay scammers

If you are in the market for Escort parts, be wary that there are quite a few shonks on Ebay. Particularly ones selling RS2000 instrument clusters in QLD.  Will know more for sure when the "Auction" finishes tonight.

Are 4door Mk2's really worth that much

Dont get me wrong, this 4 door is a lovely example. but is it really worth 8.5k?  maby its because i bought a decent one a couple years ago for $900 and could only get $1600 when i sold it ( after some work). 
 
suppose its only worth what someone will pay. i guess the days of cheap eskys are loong gone.

Wheel change on MK2 Rally Pack

Gday all,
    thought Id post some pics of the Rally Pack  ( some may recognise it as Jaycees old car ). I always liked superlites so finally got a set on my car. 13 X 6 with 205/60's. Pretty happy with the result, looks a bit sportier and put the original volantes away in storage. Will definitely keep them for originality though.

Dave's MK2 RS2000 2 Door

Hi Guys,
 
Ill post up a bunch more pics soon of the rebuild, but just wanted to put this up for people to see the car finally with plates on it.
 
A huge thanks to everyone who helped me out along the way. So many people. What a great community.!.
 
The exterior is yet to be done. It currently sports original snow white paint, complete with scratches and blemishes. Interior and engine bay have been taken care of.
 
Feel free to question / critique as you see fit :).
