umm plans
at the moment my plans are to sort out everything for getting a road worthy. iam current as we speak pulling out the front end and replacing the front suspension bushes and soon to be fitting a new set of struts with bmw vented dics and 4 piston volvo caplipeirs. also respraying the inside of the wheel arches and the front quarter bumpers. then..
i want to completely respray the car (same colour) but also colour match the roof. and fix the little bit of damage on the front, refit a new bonnet (because the old one didn't like sitting where it was and made a surprise visit into the windscreen). then just some fiddly stuff in the interior to sort.

yeah the car has had a few previous owners, the one before last did the supra and the internals of the engine and the last owner redid the supra box (cos it was very dodgy) and fitting the 45s and 8 3/4".
so lucky me now has the lucky job of sorting out the horrid mess all the owners have made of the wiring loom by hacking their way in. but yes as said great platform to start my project off on.
cheers Mish

been a while since i last updated. I have now fitted a set of smcka's vented crossed drilled and slotted rotors and a caliper spacer kit to the front end of the ghia.Took a bit of 'working' to get them to fit but after some time they made their way on. whilst all was out i resprayed the inner guards, struts, control arms ect.

Next up on the list is to get the exterior of the car up to scratch. i am ditching the vinyl and getting the entire car re-painted.

update: haven't been on this thread for a while, forgot it was here. umm progress. Car is now on the road. cut out a lot of rust, replaced alot of parts, spent alot of time waiting for panel beaters and stuffed up a few times inbetween. sorted out alot of wiring gremlins and had to get the motor as close as possible back to emissions spec to pass the dreaded roadworthy. got some new boots on it too aswell as a new timing belt and all the seals that began to piss out with oil as soon as she was on the raod. also had to do the clutch as it shat itself one morning on my way to work (fun drive). will post pics soon as i download them. cheers Zac

hey craig, yeah its the one i bought from SFS this year, seems it was not quiet the 'great buy' i thought it was.
Next on the to do list is to fit my new shocks when they come in january, hopefully it will harden up my suspension and stop my cars bumpstop fetish. After that its time to fab up my antidive kit and then try my hand at some amature motorsport.

about time for an update, its been a while i've done a few things here and there, harder when its ur daily.
- fitted koni adjustable shocks - moved battery to boot - cut out more rust - removed vinyl roof - drove around with a primer roof for 2 months - fitted high energy electronic dissy - heat wrapped extractors - new 2 1/4 inch exhaust - triple core radiator - run the car at the SFA dyno day 94.4rwhp not too shabby - got entire car repainted - driven and enjoyed most of all.
will post some more pics up soon
