Pinto Fuel Pump Spacer

Hi,
When I see pinto fuel pumps for sale, there is never the spacer with it,
all the pinto motors I have seen have the spacer, so I assume it is necessary , any advise ?
It is like a plastic looking cardboard , can these be bought and where?
thanks Jim

As usual on Ebay, UK.  http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/D-S-MOTORSPORT-PERFORMANCE-PARTS.  Will cost more for the postage than the cost of the item.  They are made in different materials, my original one is made of a compressed fibre but come in a material like bakelite, acrylic etc. You could make your own if you have the material, the pattern is easy enough to duplicate.
    Cheers,
    Len

Hey Troppo, double check before you put the blanking plate over the old hole, mine still needed it, the little pump lobe, actuator thingy (not sure what its called) clashed with the blanking plate...
    Cheers Drew...

I removed the pump actuator shaft from the block before fitting the blanking plate as I use an electric pump. used 6mm steel  flat with gasket with silicon to seal it to prevent oil leaks due to my high oil pressure.
