Ford Capri 1972 V6 Clutch Lever Release Boot
Hi, I am new to this forum and I am seeking help from its members if possible. I need a good 2nd hand or new reproduction Clutch Lever Release Boot for my 1972 V6 Capri. Any leads would be greatly appreciated as I have tried The UK and Europe without any luck. Thanks fomocobo

Surely there are repo's out there? If its the same as the Escort ones, they are available. Burtons stock them I think? Or try Mike at Yesterford?

John Roberts in Vic might have some, or know where to get them.

They’re different to anything else currently available. They were being reproduced (I supplied a good sample) but they haven’t been made for some time now. I’m not aware of anyone reproducing them currently, or holding any stock.

I should also add that if anyone knows of a business who could reproduce these (not 3D printed versions, actual injected moulding) I have a NOS one and could work with that business to do a run of reproductions.

Found this thread with a few people we know. PeterM is no longer doing mouldings https://www.classic-ford....m.aspx?m=79926&p=2

Thanks Guys for all your useful information and efforts, it seems that I am just going to have to wait until someone in Australia ,Britain or Europe decides to manufacture a reproduction. If you hear of anyone who intends to do this please let me know. regards Fomocbo

Yep, I supplied Peter with the sample. It’s a shame he’s no longer doing any of his stuff as it was excellent.

I bought one of his last ones and am going to have a go at making a mould from it because I need another one for my other Capri. If I manage to get a good result I will post here and see what the interest is.

Put me down for one GTV6, what about the metal clip that secures it to the bell housing ? Does anyone have on of those ?

Ok, now the pressure's on to not stuff it up. I have a spring clip, pretty simple shape just got to figure out where to buy the right material.
