ford mk2 master cylinder

Probably a silly question but just wanted to clarify, on an escort master cylinder there are three outlets, i assume one is for front one for rear but the one underneath has a smaller inner outlet (not thread size) what is this for? Cheers

From memory one outlet goes directly to D/S front brake connection in the inner guard. The other two go to the distribution block near the chassis rail on that side. From there one outlet goes to P/S front brake connection and the other to the distribution block on the diff for rear brakes.
