Link me if its been covered before - but does anyone have any credible specifications for Australian Escorts? Particularly, engine power. Searching online reveals so many different contradicting specs. Is the a page already covering the specs? Thanks

Is this the sort of information you are looking for? This is in relation to my MK1 Panelvan. I used several sources of information. I even used car sales to get some info. I can't guarantee the accuracy of the info I collected though. Try using the Gregories books, I know there is huge amount of specs in them.

Have you guys read the book on Mark 2 sporting escorts. lots of great pics, plenty of info on trim levels and year changes, not only on Pommie fords but the specifics on Aussie ones. Also a version on the Mark 1. Readily found on Ebay or Amazon.
