Worked 1600 out of a friends gt cortina, he spent about 4500 rebuilding it,big crow cam sounds like a 13b lol, LUMPY!!! polished, ballenced, electronic ignition, head work blah blah blah!!! pretty much just run in,did About 600km and has now decided to build a sr20 engine so I made him sell me this, plus saves me the hassle of rebuilding my kent.

That sure is a lovely engine you have there. Nothing like a well tuned 1600 kent motor. Very nice!

Never had anything to do with the 1600`s, but have heard they can be little rippers if modded right. Looks like you got a great engine there

I did a race day in a formula ford with a worked 1600 kent soooo much torque, they are not built for revs 6500 max, but Kent's are renowned for their pulling power , damn fun day that was!!!

Well finally got all the wiring finished and ready for when the engine goes in, I'm extremely happy how well it cleaned up, just like it left the factory, which is a nice touch to complement the engine bay having the original wiring looking sweet.
