Pinto Turbo, a very serious engine combo

Was just having a troll around the internet and found this link, a 1000 HP capable pinto.......... Freaking Heck, then found a second link to a carb turbo pinto also. Check em out.

    The thing has some grunt, but not sure how useable it is.  If you google the owners name, you will see he has had the escort for a long time with numerous drivelines.
     
     
    If you want to see a quick turbo escort, have a look around some of the Malta drag racing forums.
     
    Here is an example.  8.5 second quarters is seriously quick for a pinto.
