Theres a couple of threads in the carburettor section regarding this one, I did the bike carbs recently after following a few different builds...
Bike carbs are easy on the pinto, just get an email to Bogg Bros:
    http://www.boggbros.co.uk/
    boggbrothersltd@btconnect.com
Organise up a manifold to be made for your pinto, decide whether you want vacuum take off for brake booster, and a water take off for your heater...
Cost me 286GBP delivered (nearly $500) but it is schmick...
You can attempt to make the manifold at home, I have a mild steel intake cutout and piping to suit, but you have to be pretty good on the weld and being careful not to warp it at all when assembling... I'll sell that setup for $100 posted if you get keen... Go Boggs manifold though.

Look for a set of carbs from an R1 98-01 model, found mine on ebay for $150 delivered from the states, just keep an eye out there.

You need an electric fuel pump to suit the motorbike...

Drill main jets, adjust needle jet circlips and there you go, more power and way better throttle response...

I have a bit more adjusting to do, a wideband meter is letting me tune the car to a decent level without using a dyno... Mainly waiting for head work, camshaft etc to get done before going to dyno...

    Good luck
