Yea i regret going a 2.9 now. He said he counted 1.9 turns before he put it in the car, would be like a gokart

yeah if anything it will be later in the arvo... yeah i counted 1.9 ish turns lock to lock but its supposed to be a 2.2quaife rack. i haven't driven it a great deal and it needs a wheel alignment, but its better than the old stock rack. Glenn

as a few people already know i had some issues with the big 4 barrell carb, it wasn't getting any signal and i was getting a fairly big flat spot. Also the afrs where all over the place, So we toned it down to a 350 2 barrel on a std manifold utilizing a space thanks to a few local forum members. basically the whole inlet side of the engine had changed, turbo hat, carb, and manifold. anyway after some tuning the and some custom carb mods the results are very pleasing, with the correct jet size (i still think i could go a little smaller than what i currently am running) and boost referencing the power valve in the carb (this made all the difference) it drives really well. It drives just like it did when it was stock with a 32 / 36 webber off boost, ( maybe a little dougher due to timing and decomp plate) but if i hold the gear a liitle longer and load it up around 3200 the boost just rolls on nicely. Wastegate is only set to 7 psi but with the cold weather we have here in sa at the moment it feels very strong and i cant wait to wind the boost up and retune. ive posted a fairly crap video (go pro went flat) to show how well it drives off boost, I plan on getting more footage but its been raining constantly here. Theres still more tuning and few things like the handbake that need completing but its slowly becoming a very fun car

Great job Glenn! Good to see you can now take it out and enjoy it without worrying about reliability. Looks very tame and doesn't sound crazy off boost either which is really good Ryan
