I am not the best at describing... but between the blue and the red part...on the 70 degree bends (the blue part has a locking lug and it comes loose) which i think causes a leak between the blue and red bit.... Sorry thats the worst explanation.. i will take a pic when i get a chance and put an arrow on the section lol

that said i could have had a faulty part? yours may be ok!!

Looks awesome. Good choice on putting decals on it!

Are they 'approved' safety boots Dez is wearing?

its been awhile since i have posted as not a great deal has happened,
to be honest a bit of a lack of motivation and being stumped on a few things haven't helped.

as 2 of my superlights where old and 2 where new, i looked into getting them refurbed,
after getting quotes that were more expensive than new rims (i like the 10 spoke rim that is now discontinued)
i called performance wheels, and asked if they could make a pair in 7" to match or clean mine up, i was told that they no longer produce 10 spoke rims, but could repaint mine for $50 a rim. Seen as performance wheels are located 5 mins from my house it was a no brainer.
These came up great i have gone gloss black instead of charcoal, sorry the pics do no justice on how well these came up.

Also i have been always planning this car to be as factory as possible and wanted everything that worked from factory to still work, so running a heater was very important.
I was worried about how i could neatly run the lines near my turbo manifold without melting them, so i purchased a new heater core, and had some threads fitted to the end. From there i ran fittings and braided line to both the inlet manifold and water pump.
The waterpump line goes under the engine mount and the inlet manifold goes behind the head and around. it was abit fidly to set up but seems to all plumb up fine. once again bad phone pics but im sure you can make out what's goin on.

The goal is to start the car so im currently working on setting up a fuel system.
Ill post some pics as i progress through that.

I will dig out a few pictures soon and get a thread going. Still only at the start of the resto so nothing exciting going on.
Whilst i remember, are they new rubbers and chrome inserts in the portholes?
