Hi Tufbox, all i have done lately is install the escort front swaybar bkts which involved cutting open the chassis and welding in crush tubes. I been more active on the orange mk1 Escort this week, we have a Ford show in March and am trying to get it ready

Nice work Marty. I'm in the process of doing something similar with my Mk1 Escort, but the heater bubble makes it tricky to retain that 'factory' look. You've done well.

Thanks lads This is what i did this arvo, got the welds linished back and a light skim of filler to blend everything together, as Anglia4 says, like i was never there! Even my neighbour had a look and was impressed at what i done in a few days !! The colour is only white 2pk undercoat not the final colour..which is still undecided.
