i had a friend machine the mounts up to mount the calipers , them the fun started..
1st thing was i needed to widen the calipers to accept venteds.

next was the fitting up of calipers onto the strut, some small amount of meat was removed to get the caliper on.

I would like to thank Smcka for the extra long wheel studs too, cheers mate
Next on the list is to fully strip the car out ready for Mr grit blast man....a guaranteed laugh when it come back !!

A small update on the Anglebox, it is fully stripped of parts & panels ready for the Gritblaster on Wednesday morning, get it back in the arvo, approx 4hrs! I found a place 'Trackblasting' in lizbeff(Elisabeth) who will blast it away for $500 using Garnet. Hope the car doesnt come back in a Woolworths Ecobag[B)]!!
Heres the last pics i'll show before the big day!

Next installment on Wednesday night

geez mate, that Anglia I told you about on Coventry Road is looking mighty nice at $700. I am sure that it does not have that much cancer!! [:x)]

I also have a line on a couple of 2 door mk 1's close by.....would you be intermerested (in one) if they come cheaply enough, weeds and all?[:u]

Thanks shane,
I know about the Brown Angular on Coventry rd...Surrounded by Holdungs!!
A Mk1 Cortina will be ok, but as you know my yard is loaded with Festa's & Mk1 Escorts[V] , if i can offload the Festa's i'll consider the Cort+ its undergrowth!

Certainly, gets you straight to the problem areas, not as bad as what I thought thou from the photo's. Out of all the rusty bits, the boot floor would have to be the hardest ?

Ben.
PS. do you still have the zetec weber manifold ?

Hi Ben,
The boot floor is an eye sore but i'll sort it out somehow, maybe use a dead Escort boot floor or something
I will need to pick up the pace a little making the rotissery to fit somewhere solid at the back !

Ben, I still have the inlet here ready to post
