Kent rl32

What is the minimum compression ratio that is required to make this camshaft work as it come with a later injected bvh will be in a rally car at a later stage and wanted to run pump fuel (98).

    If head flows well 11:1 compression will be ok

    Yes has been ported is late model injected head was on a Holbay cranked 2.4 litre previously

    hi dek have the inlet ports been open out,
    the port runner size is 38mm for a injection head ,do you know what size they are  cheers mario.

    I would start at 11:1 maybe go as high as 12.5:1 but a little extreme , somewhere in between, the rl32 and FR32 has a lot of overlap to help push gasses out which means both intake and exhaust valves are open for a while so you'll need to get the compression back up . 👍

    reason for port size port might be to big if going on a 2 litre pinto engine cheers mario.

    The port measures 38.9 on manifold face but goes to 38 a couple of mm in to the port as was matched to the manifold and has long 4 2 1 manifold for the exhaust

    Have 45dcoe webers but also have some 45mm throttle bodies that bolt up to a weber manifold
