Oil Pressure Switch Thread Size

Hi All,

I am purchasing a T-Piece adapter for my oil pressure gauge, but for the life of me I can't remember the thread size for the where the oil switch sits in the engine. My oil pressure sender is 1/8”- 27 NPT

So this would narrow my choices down to either part number

I have found 5 different sizes :

Part No.        Thread A             Thread B            Thread C

230.031         1/8 NPT             1/8 NPT              1/8 NPT

230.032         1/4 NPT             1/4 NPT              1/8 NPT

230.035         M14x1.5mm       M14x1.5mm       1/8 NPT

230.036         1/8 BSPT           1/8 BSPT            1/8 NPT

230.033         M10x 1mm         M10x 1mm          1/8NPT

Where:
Thread A is the male thread to the engine block
Thread B is the female thread in end of T-Piece
Thread C is the female thread on side of T-Piece

Thanks guys.

    ^^^^Also available through ENZED

The postage price alone from that seller is more than the fitting from Enzed. But still a good thing you posted that up Matt, it helped the guys order it for me. Cheers

Turns out the Enzed fitting is tapered for hoses.

Here's what I'll be replacing it with

    +1 (1)
Can I suggest that you also replace the oil pressure sender for one with a much higher reading around 30psi or so.

This i=ensures that if the light comes on you will have have a chance to shut down and possibly save your engine rather than the light come on to tell you your engine is rooted.

    Cheers

    Hi guys,

Did some further searching on the net, and came across these from motorsport connections

    http://www.mscn.com.au/oil-pressure-tees?keyword=oil%20press

Ordered one myself, should have it in the next day or two.

Thanks for the tip Matt, I ordered a VDO oil pressure gauge with some other goodies. 500kpa sender which I think is around 70 odd psi. That was the smallest sender i could get my hands
