Head Cam Induction info

hey all. new to this forum, just purchased a mk2 RS and looking at some performance improvements for the pinto. just after something streetable that wont blow the budget. got my hands on some R1 Carbs. was after some advice on head work / cam selection and perhaps some recommended engine builders in Melbourne. Thanks in advance.

    I went down the R1 carbs route too.  (See my build thread for more info).
     
    A bit of porting and a mild cam will make a nice difference to the standard engine.

    yeah looks like a nice job you've done there matt, that will help me a great deal. looking forward to getting into it. any idea if ill squeeze it in there without relocating the battery ?
     
    Does anyone know or can recommend someone for the head work ?

    Yeah, it'll fit no probs.  Any qn's let me know as I have made all the mistakes for you to learn from.  ;-)
     
    Contact Wozzah on the forum as he is building me a race pinto.  He'll be able to do it or point you in the right direction for sure.
