Colder thermostats

Can you get thermostats colder than the standard 192 F like a 165 or a 180 F? Parts guy claims they don't exist which I highly doubt.

    Get a Holden one (bigger diameter) and cut / grind down the ouside so it is the right diameter...

    Have done this for years on the competition cars, as there is no one the right size in a cooler temp...

    For a road car though it is not worthwhile as it will run too cold...

    If its a road car, part number tt4-180, available from nearly any parts store.
