Oil Pressure Switch Remote Mount

As I've now run a braided line straight from the lower pickup on the NS of the block to the oil pressure gauge, I need a take off point for the oil pressure light.

I was planning on fitting a switch here -




Has anybody tried this before? Will it work?

    It will work from anywhere in the line. spot you indicated will be fine
