Ok guys,
"Your Bonnet Stay" IS IT STRAIGHT ?
On the 2lt Mk2 Escorts - the bonnet stay from the pivot retainer point should be straight all the way to the right angle at the Bonnet lock in point.
Is yours ?
On the Earlier Mk2 1.6lt & 1.3lt - does the bonnet stay have a tiny bend approx. 90 to 100mm from the pivot point.
Is yours ?
Your imput would be great.

I just found these pics on Boostcruising.
At first I thought xflow, but the carb is too big and there's no rocker cover haha. There must be a rotor housing hiding down there

Check out the body kit on this beast. Not my cup of tea but I can certainly appreciate the amount of work tjhat went into it. It runs a duratec turbo.

Was up at summernats again this year, and seen a couple neat escorts getting around. A MK2 van even made top 60!!!!
Good to see these old girls still getting around and appreciated!

Never had this one happen before, was cruising along up the last hill to home and then a huge bang followed by some big engine noise.
Clutch in, pulled over and engine off, explained to the missus that this could be very bad.. Had a look in the bay to find this in #3!
The other half disappeared about 100 meters down the road and its 35 degrees so I couldnt be bothered looking.
Accuspark 3 ground plugs by the way, I have contacted them already.
