Thanks Scott, Re: The wheels, my options are minimal but I think they set the car off plus it's the look im going for. Sometimes not to others tastes, but then again I didn't build it for anyone else. Are you sure I can't change your mind with these little comparison pics?[:p] Download Attachment: sigma.jpg 14.56 KB Download Attachment: chaser.jpg 17.12 KB Aside from all this, not alot to report as far as the RS goes. It needs a motor transplant but is still drivable, though I try not to take it too far. It's waiting for it's rebuilt motor and a set of twins. If all goes well I hope to have it going within 3-4weeks with the new motor. Also still need to fit the decals and an aerial. Rhys

The only reason why Im using those Sigma wheel is because 13's no longer fit on my RS due to the size of the rear brakes. But hey, everybody is different.

G'Day Dave, still haven't got motor back from balancing. Was hoping I'd have it back last week so I could re-assemble it. The only bits retained from your motor is the head which I got sorted out and crank. It should be a decent little motor when finished, but at this stage Im not sure if it's going to make it into the RS or not. I'll speak to you more when you pop in. Rhys

I went to collect some bits from Rhys tonight and I must say the quality of the work on the 4dr RS is fantastic considering the environment it was done (carport). I'm well impressed! [:u] A credit to your patience and perseverance

Thanks Vanman,
Lucas, 'new' meaning not same motor your thinking but one from Ghia will go in hopefully by weekend and the RS should be back on the streets by next week/end- I've got to clean it up and put new valve stem guides in. I'm still putting together the other one very slowly. I'm dummy building it to check clearances, at this stage not sure if it will ever make it into the RS.

The time has come and as far the project is concerned the RS is finished except for decals being fitted and a much needed wheel alignment. So considering I have my other Escort just sitting and not getting much love and I have another car as a daily driver, the RS is up for saleThis will free up some driveway space for another 2dr in the future. But right now I have no need to be keeping 3 cars rego'd and insured. It's by no means a show car but has come up quite respectable for the street. I'll get a ad going in Forsale section.
