Im using Protec acrylic. Those pics were not top coat (I actually went over the car again since that post), I hope for better finish once its all cut and polished. But it came off the gun alright all things considered. Today I did the black outs around the door areas. Nose cones all masked up and ready for a hit of black too (not keeping the colour coded theme anymore) Rhys

Here's a few pics for the anti-colour code brigade. Sorry to the purists, its not Sno White and its not satin or matt black but I like being different. All other black outs are also done in Jet Black. Download Attachment: 26092007329.jpg 67.32 KB Download Attachment: 26092007330.jpg 85.62 KB Download Attachment: 26092007331.jpg 79.91 KB Rhys

Using a HVLP gravity gun made by Arnold. Its by far not the ducks nuts, but it does the job. Was around $150ish or just over mark a few years back. I bought it so I could prime my Blue Escort, then we used it to paint the Morry. Just make sure you keep up the maintenance on whatever you get and clean it properly. I don't know what 'SuperCheap' guns are like but I'd assume they're exactly that. Best bet is go to a few auto paint shops and have a chat about it and tell them what your plans are painting wise.
