Simo,
Im running 2 x 10 inch Calibre Thermofans that i found at Super cheap. Not sure if they were less than 5.5. I used 2 so i didn't contact the water pulley and harmonic balancer etc in the middle of the radiator as you would by using a single fan. I can check later tonight. See attached photo for what i did.

I know its not as efficient as using a single fan, so i placed one fan close to the entry side of the radiator and one close to the exit to give it just that little bit more of a chance to cool the coolant down.

I also used the pull through fan setup to allow the front of the radiator to get a full surface area for cooling rather than blocking it with the fans. Its going to have enough trouble with the intercooler pre heating the air. I may eventually put a few airflow diverters in to compensate.
Im hoping the larger alloy radiator will be my saving grace

unfortunately my radiator isnt that big to run the 2 fans. im having some trouble getting the pinto in duie to the thickness of the radiator. its a PWR item and its about 75mm thick and my single fan is hitting on the pulley. the only thing i can't think of is to move the motor back, the core size of the radiator is about 440 x 400
thanks for the help

Tidy, what dimensions is your radiator? Thickness too.
I am going for the widest practically possible.

Maybe try one of these mark. http://cgi.eBay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&item=250038220500&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
They will go very close to fitting in with some front Panel mods.
Top efford on the conversion to. Looks like the motor is right at home in there.

Mark,
The radiator is a KJ Radiator Industries unit.PN(KJ044A) Dimensions are 30mm core, 350mm high, 690mm wide. Fits in with exactly 2mm spare each side between the chassis rails and radiator cap clears the bonnet by about 20-30mm. Does require radiator shroud panel mods aswell.
I bought it off eBay (nrap - eBay username) through Ringwood Auto Parts in Victoria. Cost me $340. Its an sr20 alloy radiator that the Datsun boys use when doing sr20 conversions except with the inlet/outlet reversed.

Well the stainless 2.5 inch exhaust is on and she was fired up for the first time on Sunday. All i can say is wholley Sh*t it goes. When these sr20det's come on boost, they are an absolute animal. My back wheels where trying to beat the fronts at 80kmhr on dry road and i had to control myself before i kissed someones house or blew the diff to pieces.
Never felt a smoother shove of power in any other car and the noise of turbo whistle and twin cams rumbling through the exhaust is awe inspiring.
Next steps are to get the most out of it at the dyno shop and then to get engineering signoff. Then on to some cruises and shows. can't wait.
Hopefully i can get some video footage soon and post a link.

A few more interior shots with the gear shifter finished off. Shes clocked up just on 300 km's now on the Autometer electronic speedo. It feels like im driving a brand new car. [(#)]

g'day Luke,
Yep the intercooler plumbing was a b*tch. Had to go through the side walls of the engine bay then back into the front section just near the front lights under the guards. Ended up very neat and out of the way without cutting up the front of the car. The intercooler was a custom job by ICEMAN intercoolers in Newcastle. Works well and fits in without too much hassel. The Blue brigade dont spot it but people who have turbo cars do. A very sleepy look.
