RE: Retro sound
Bought the knobs for my Mk1 Cortina radio through them, massive selection, prompt postage, nice turned, heavy, stainless items that were pretty close to the originals.
One problem though, I asked him what type of post they fitted, I have the D shaped type and he said yes thats what they were.
When they arrived they were the circular type and too small. Not an issue to drill them out to a tight fit but I didn't appreciate being BS'd. I'd have bought and adapted them anyway.

If anyones after a radio I'll be going to a big auto jumble in the WA wheatbelt next month. There was heaps of radios there last year. Parts numbers or brands would be good and a measurement of the screen and width from post of post would be handy. I'll print out the pics from the site and take them with me.
Can't guarantee anything and not out to make money, you'll get it for the cost on the day, it'll just give me something else to look for while I'm rooting though the stalls. Its all in the thrill of the chase...
PM me if you're interested.
Cheers Drew.

The pic Spud15 posted is the genuine FoMoCo baby.

By the way, I can fix almost any car radio or stereo if you need help.  I still have lots of parts (other than knobs and appearance bits) for those old AM radios.  No Ned Kelly prices.

Yeah thats the one mate, there was a fair bit of stuff, badges, radios, mk2 Cortina GT parts and some Escort TC bits. Didn't buy anything that wasn't for my cars but did find some early porcelain number plates and at long last a Tassie plate to hang in the shed.
Lifes slowing down now and I got the new phone working so let me know when you want to do that diff.
Cheers Drew
