Fantastic info Terry ! Had been told by many that 3 Camshafts, while others insisted only 2, that were made for our 3000 V6. Your priceless info proves that 3 is correct ! Would explain why these "11" go like V8's.("cut cats")! I would have an extra horse or 2 since I deleted my Fan Blades altogether, as Ive never experienced overheating from the day I rebuilt the engine some years ago. Must fit Thermofans for heavy traffic like going into the City. Or just dont go where heavy traffic is !

^^ yes I thought I'd already given a chassis number in this thread earlier. No Worry, but I dont have it one me. Color was mustard orange color, like 2 day old baby poo. It had black interior, high backs, manual, rostyles, overriders, no bonnet vent, with matt blackouts, side stripes and GT badges. Plus 25+ years of daily dents by the time I found it, and normal rust from use as a daily driver. Hope that helps. The BSS thread: the one that refuses to die!

My understanding Stillwells put the BSS Badge on anything they wanted to promote; regardless of Make or Model ? Certainly wasnt exclusive to any Capri ? Plz correct me anyone if Ive erred

Very correct Bernie, those 'BSS Customised' badges appeared on numerous Ford vehicles sold by Stillwell's back in the day, Falcons, Cortinas, Escorts, Capris and the like. The big unanswered question though is, did they actually do any 'customisation' to these vehicles out of the ordinary Ford accessories, or was the badge just a sales gimmick? A very good question Bernie, cheers Terry.

Hi Terry or anyone else that can help. Love to know if Capri Mk2 at least uses interchangeable Door and rear passenger Trims to suit Mk1 Capri. I imagine Mk3 would be non interchangeable. May have to fit new backing boards to mine since Fascia is undamaged but backing is almost toast and new board may be easier than to try and save mine. Bernie

Hi Bernie. I'd assume that Mk.2 and Mk.3 would be interchangeable, as they both use the same body. Neither would or should be interchangeable with the Mk.1 though, as far as I know. Cheers, Terry

MK2 MK3 trims are non interchangeable with Mk1. Did you mean Mk1 Facelift? Yes they fir pre FL, but, the interior pull is in a different spot so the hole is wrong

Interesting, the decal is on the earlier handbook, usually the 72 had the red cover book with 3000GT on it

1/ John, plz let us know when do you think the new Parcel Shelf Uppers are going to land ? 2/ Has anyone compared the new Instrument Dash Panels from Rotary at $399plus, as compared to Old-School-Auto at $289plus, and comment the pros and cons of both please ? 3/ Any thoughts please on solutions to "crappy looking" dash switches even if only "chrome-leaf" application is possible ? Cheers and hoping everyone had a GREAT EASTER !

Front parcel shelves arrive this Thursday. I do reco switches that are chrome plated not leafed Dash fascia is nice but needs a coat of clear laquer and the rings made chrome-I have one here a before and after to compare it to. The fascia is the same from both companies - just watch the freight price on the cheaper one
