Like any purchase which you might consider to be of an investment nature, it pays to do a close inspection and research first. Much like the German RS offered for sale recently for good money. Things aren't always as correct as they are described in advertising. Buyer beware!!!

Now that you mention it you can see the original colour in engine bay and it is missing stickers from engine bay. The grill I don't believe to be correct either as wasn't twin cam grills black on the grill section and chrome around outside.

Some reason I can only see the one photo.
If you don't mind either asking, what model number is on the vin plate? Is it the 11219 or 11119? The reason I ask is that I have been looking at one which was December 71 and he is saying it's a gt but all references I have seen say it's a twin cam

yes and no. i agree with some of the comments here in that i was paranoid about driving it. ive just bought a nice mark 2 rs which im more comfortable with
