Good news Ron the Stilwell special has been bought and will be reassembled for sale later in the year. I have the correct gearbox for it just need to chase down some other parts to assist in it being supplied in correct form

if your making them if probably like them in white back ground with black writing  as my capri is yellow and will standout better in white black

I only have yellow and black as thats all they came in. They might look ok on yellow car or can be placed on the aircleaner or radiator cover plate. If you pm me your mailing address i will send a couple FOC..... Cheers,...ron.

I'm certainly glad that it's gone to someone who'll restore and enjoy it, and hopefully I'll see it one day. Sad to hear about the previous owner's illness though. If that was me I'd be devastated to sell my babies.

Hopefully one day I'll come across my dream orange v6 capri, or the wild violet v6 I went for a drive in as a teenager in the late 80's (my first v6 capri experience).

Price will depend on how much of it's original parts are still there and how much I have to find, body mods etc, an as is price would be about 13.5k

I really feel sorry for this old thing, it's an auto with all the extra 'L' woodgrain, chrome, trim and badges. Actually a fairly unusual car.
Can't quite see the console but if its a GT one it's worth the asking price alone.

I saw this back when the pricing was 10x that, which I thought was pretty optimistic. Hiopefully someone will see some value in it at its present price and at least reuse some parts.

had that yellow rusty capri came up last yr for that price id fly over to nz and strip it of the good parts and engine send it all back to aus .... well worth the trip to nz for all of those spares  .. its even got the radio still in  good bloody deal ..
 
might see if a few of the kiwi friends have any cousin's near there to strip it down

From what I learnt last year whack it in a container by other stuff and don't use timber for pallets.
It looks pretty well gone but I wouldn't cut it up.
