Good project.  Shame about the flared guards but not too hard to undo.  Otherwise looks salvageable.

Picked these two up from gumtree for a decent price yesterday. Blue one looks more a parts car but lots of original goodies can use

Neither did I for a few days. But went out and was surprised at all the original pieces in the blue one. Only shame was has some really bad rust but the one that's been stripped I'm not sure what I'm going to do. It was a package deal so had to buy both but not sure if I'll keep it everything's there for it but I have enough restos

Funny how we say it has bad rust. In the UK it would be considered almost rust free.
Sometimes a few sections are bad but to fix it you might find it a better option than one that seems rust free. Cars with paint and bog worry me where cars with no paint and rust let me know what I’m in for.
No hidden surprises.

Theses were the two being sold as 1969 Capris I think but the blue one certainly is not. Must be mid 71 or later.
