Is that the same one that had the skyline engine with it on ebay a few months ago?
Interesting that he thinks the numbers were on the firewall. You can see where the numbers have been cut out from the RHS strut top but I'll bet the chassis number is still on the slam panel under all that paint. Stolen many moons ago???

It probably is. Won’t be any numbers on the slam panel as it must of been a 1971 model from my knowledge. It’s not a 72 model that’s for sure.
No way of knowing what it’s numbers were and nowadays the police are only concerned about engine numbers.
I will take some fresh pics and post it up.
I won’t be pretending it’s anything apart from what it is though.

A few photos of this one. So badly done it’s not funny. Sorry I put a bid on to win as parts. Strikes the question GtV6 I won it and paid for it. Might be stolen but should I call the police? I only ask cause we all know the police and motor registry won’t give a stuff unless it’s restored and worth something. At the moment it’s a learning base but I’ll only fix it for profit so what’s that worth? Or cut it up and I don’t like that idea.
It’s not a proper V6 but could be a car one day or fix others instead.
The front wings are worth more than the car.
Happy for advice on this one. Ok pictures won’t load again. Sorry

I reckon you've done well Wiggy. There's $260 worth of project value and learning, you can only make that car better.
If you save it that's one more still around, or if it donates a quarter, rear pael or whatever, and keeps another car on the road, that's good too.
Have you picked the car up?
Those rims look a bit interesting, i'm wondering is it just the pictures or have they been reversed or widened?

Not judging you Wiggy, or the bloke you bought it from. IF stolen the owner probably got a payout and its too far gone for anyone to care. I only mention it because to get it licensed it will have to have a VIN so you will either need to be able to explain why it hasn't got one, or if there is one on the slam then make sure its clean before you spend hours and $$ trying to make a profit. Worth more than what you paid just for the struts, but could turn into a waste of time and money if you get it road worthy and cant license it.

The white matching on ebay that was pep green is listed as sold for $22,650 on ebay.

I won’t fix it to pretend it’s more than it is.
I will fix it for my race car I can transport.
I know I can return it but not to perfection.
It’s really just a learning curve.
Such a newby on that after so many years.
I don’t really take advice well, but I give it like we all do.
I’ve got it’s motor already courtesy of others on here not suitable for the road but race track maybe.
The body though might best be forgotten than fixed so still in to minds.
Great front wings stone tray and roof.
Struts, wheels and rear diff and lots more help me and others finish projects.
I hope I have added value to others in that dept on this forum.

I was watching that car on EBay and thought it would be a good buy for the parts alone.
A shell in that condition is really a blank canvas, you can make of it what you wish and learn along the way.

They were contemplating that sort of scheme here in NSW. I can’t remember the money they were offering but around $1000 for a swap. You would be selling privately at that cost. It all got to much for the Govt do they scraped it fortunately.

Alright finally bit the bullet and listed my
Capri on Gumtree. $38000 Diamond White Matching numbers V6 Auto. It’s for sale to highest price. Sorry holes elsewhere in life to fix so something has to sadly go. Such is life. Life goes on.

Question. I normally buy things and rarely sell. I’ve listed my Capri and now have someone who says they will buy it sight unseen and send an agent to collect.
They want my bank acc details or Paypal to deposit funds.
They have only given a name and say they can’t call. This sounds dodgy to me but sometimes it’s the case like where I live. I can’t often send a text and can’t call out from mobile while I’m at home or hear properly if I do.
So if I gave my paypal or acc no Bsb and name is their anything to lose.
