My story with my Perana. I don't drive it but I start it and move it. Last time I drove it the clip that holds the brake and clutch fork in the peddle box came off and the bar fell out of the peddle box.
I was just abou to go down the hills to Wisemans Ferry with no brakes and no clutch. Lucky I realised something was wrong.
In my opinion these are the ultimate as performance wise nothing stacks up as stock.
I can't have two but anyone who buys it should respect it. Hopefully

Love it. Takes me back to the 80's panelvans.

I'd rename it the 'Camp-ri' and fit it out with bedding and a lava lamp!

Correct Whools, tho I was still a little tacker in the 70s, my big brother traded his MGA for a twincam (a purple one) the only one that color in Adelaide. He said each week usually Friday the lotus broke something and he spent all weekend fixing it! His mate bought a yellow lotus and quickly swapped it out for a pinto.., much more reliable and fun to drive too.. It seems Fords late hindsight to bring in the rs model when it should have been released as per rest of the common world in the early 70s!

Love that Capri...
Heres another one, same era as the twink just a little more affordable. Interesting it has the GT-L wood dash, GT console, over riders and the early GT chrome on the wheel arches. Would be an great entry level car to the world of small Fords.

1/2 of that if you'd seen it in person.
Totally rusted and gutted.
