Thanks JR. Just received the door trims tonight (Courier company finally delivered - all good)
The quality is superb, could not fault them in any way
Will make the resto job perfect for a 45 year old car
Many thanks
Cheers
John

dont know if you blokes who brought trim noticed but the rear trim have different clips to the front and the standard original trim has rectangle type clips so does the 1/4 trim backing on the original ones where the uk ones have a   round hole like the front door trim havent tried to fit the 1/4 ones but i noticed that it was different to the front ones and the uk ones

i take a pic so you blokes know what im on about

here is a couple pics of the rear 1/4 trim original mounting clips and what they look like original

this is original style  and original clips the inside quater frame has small rectangle  slots that them clips press into ....
now need to see or get clips that will fit in the round holes with rectangle ends or drill a hole in the rectangle slots in the 1/4 inner frame to accomiate the round female and male clips ..
nothing is easy these days in resto work on capris

and this pic is the uk trims how thwy come with round holes not the same as the original style

I would think that the round circular clip would still work it the square hole. Might be best to check if you can that the holes are in the right spot. You can get them from super cheap auto.

the rectangle hole on the frame in the car are about 5mm x 10mm rectangular
same as that first pic same size
looks like they line up the same but the round clips wont fit
gota see if i can find some sort of clips that fit the round hole in the trim and also fit the rectangle slot

I just got a set of Alderidge delivered for a Capri project, Happy with the product, although the vinyl grain is Euro not the same as the Aussie original.

On my other Capri I have a set of Polyweld  repo door trims which match the Aussie vinyl grain, only downside the chrome moulding is starting to crease/lift a bit, but been on the car over 6 years now.
