Leaf Spring Bushes Escort

Hi
I started replacing the bushes to the leaf springs on my mk1 escort(has 50mm springs)with Whiteline brand and and have come across a couple of problems.
The rear spring eye set does not come with a metal tube which leaves the bolt too loose.
The front set has a tube but is fractionally too tight for the bolt.
I have checked and i've got the correct sets but not sure what would be the best thing to do.
Has anyone got a solution?
Thanks Mark

Sounds a little strange, got all poly bushes in my mark 2 and had all the hardware. Have you checked with them about not having a crush tube? I presume the standard bushes have a tube but is bonded to rubber so not able to separate and re-use with your new bushes. Are you using standard bolts for mounting , in case someone in the past might have changed them?

    Everything looks original.
When I checked there website again it doesn't show a tube in description for the rear eye but does for the front.
I will give them a all on Monday

I had the same problem of the the front bolt going through the eye of the tube. I ended up just drilling the tube out slightly. Which solved the problem.
There was no tube in the rear set of mine either but assumed this is how it should be

I've had ones without tubes flog out fairly quickly. Superpro only for me now, as they have metal crush tubes.
    Cheers
