had some issues with starting the guinea pig. wouldn't go when cold. made another inlet manifold gasket out of better paper and it is infinitely better. steampipe, bends and flat bar for the manifold turn up tomorrow. decided to use a log manifold. will have to pull the head off at some stage. i suspect a blown head gasket. will give it a basic port job too. finish the wiring, fit the turbo, drop some smokeys outside the police station ! i plan to pick up a heap of gear from my parent's place over christmas.

haven't made any more progress on the diff front. i have made the decision to go over to a blow through 500 holley. finished the adaptor off tonight. in the process of putting the carb together now. it has a nitrophyl float in it. there is a low pressure rising rate reg here somewhere too.

well, made some progress.i got sick of fried plug leads. so i lashed out and bought a different exhaust housing. it is also slightly smaller. ( 0.58 as opposed to 0.70 ) just have to get one new turbo stud and a gasket. the remake the exhaust. then clearance the brake booster mount.

what's the ea falcon throttle body going to get used for ? wouldn't it be better to use than the holley ?

the beauty of the setup is that the ea throtle body runs on fairly low pressure. so later on i can use the rise rate reg i bought for the holley. efi would be nice.
