Could be - mine may be blacker than that (hard to tell) - also - if they'd used a standard ford colour - surely they would have stamped it thus - like they did with my metallic frosted pewter one? I'll do the ford letter thing - it's so old

The Ford letter needs your license details. Proof of ownership with vin number written on it and your address or email to send the letter to. It takes no more than 48hrs by email. It will give you the options it had when it was sold as well as Color auto or manual and also who sold the car which lets you know which state it's from. And it's free

The other capri I've seen with SVO in the paint section was a dark brown - I'm pretty sure it was Royal Umber: http://www.falcongtclub.o...nt-codes/XYGT_Z801.jpg

Im thinking there is a one of Bill Bourke special or something, pretty sure it was an XW or a ZC Fairlane with a big block and a factory sunroof that was an odd dark grey metallic

Capri The car I always promised myself

Woo hoo! What do I win? :)

You're starting to get a few Capris in very interesting and rare colours. Can't wait to see them finished.

well the  whole experience has given me a warm fuzzy feeling inside - that's got to be reward enough.
yes- on the cusp of painting the pewter one now - waiting for a warmer day  - then maybe the candy apple red none. Im religiously putting a day aside a week to get thru them
