i am a big fan of bumperettes, not the original bumpers mk1 and 2.

pretty sure if you remove the bumpers completely then your car will be defectable, and having no bumpers is pretty obvious to the fuzz.

I prefer the look of the bumperettes myself, and like gazz said its a defectable offence if you get pulled

    Camo,
I'd go the shorty bumpers from a van, need to breakup the front profile a bit as well as keep it legal.
    Cheers,

I prefer the bumpers on... been looking at a lot of street machine mags and the trend seems to be cutting down and recessing them. It seems mundane but even playing with the gaps and stock mounts for a few hours will produce a crisp finish....
I'd like to have a go at welding and intergrating them to the body, but I've got to finish my current project first.....
    Cheers Drew
