Whats a 2dr mk1 worth?
Hi All , time to move my mk1 on and wondering how much to put on it, really good shell, 1600, 4 speed, resprayed ford bionic, mexico decals, wa rego (car in NSW) , not hacked about or chopped about. Im thinking got to be worth 7k, also have spares ie original 1300 711 block & lowback seats etc to go with it.

Bit hard to read minds this time of the year ! ...............with no photos and full details, you could be talking at least 2 different models, viz CORTINA or ESCORT which both come in 2 door & 4 door

Whats it worth and what it'll sell for are two different things. Ask yourself if you need to sell it or why you're selling it ? If you need a fast sale it'll be hard to get what its worth unless its something really unique.
I recently checked out a mk2 4 door GL that went through an auction house. It fetched almost $6k, non matching numbers, not particularly good from the rust perspective, pretty grubby underneath. I personally thought it was 'worth' around $2k tops.

Graham if the car has been finished off, interior is complete & tidy, good motor, I would have no hesitation asking 9K for it. Rear bumper is a bit rough, and no mexico arches on the front guards but 7K would be bottom dollar. Car looks fantastic! Good luck with the sale

WOW I have a MK2 4 door GL in 100% original condition. I wonder if I could get 6K for mine

Cheers guys will put her up for sale next few weeks, Harrier it is 2pac ford bionic (falcon colour) just the flat blue though not the metallic one. Sorry about the door cards Eskie 92, where were you when i needed you mate!!!
