I currently have micky Thompson full slicks on the rear with normal radial tyres on the front. Apparently at sydney dragway i would need front runners. I reckon I could to 12's easy atm with big boost 11's.

Still using Megasquirt 2 ecu with innovate wideband on e85. My biggest issue has been clutches. I bought a stage 4 kit off ebay, it turned out to be junk. My local clutch shop sold me an extreme kit but it slipps sometimes randomly.

That's wicked to be running on megasquirt. I am running it on a pinto no worries and was considering it for the next one as well so it's good to know it works.

My old MK1 escort with NA pinto did a 9.3sec 1/8 mile, 1.2 seconds slower than your 1/8 mile. The 1/4 mile ended up 14.5sec @ 94MPH. Should put you somewhere in the mid to low 12's with the clutch sorted.  Your radiator & intercooler set up looks very good and well planned. I bet the water temps stay cool with no obstruction from the FMIC?
I'm using a T28BB for my project, I see you've swapped to the Mamba turbo?

I got a bit carried away with the intercooler and radiator. On the dyno we cant use the big fan they have cause it cools the engine down to 60c lol. I had the disco potato (GT28) off a sr20 but it was worn out. I found the mamba way cheaper than other turbos. Bit of a gamble really but my tuner says its good, no boost spiking. Wish I bought a GT30, apparently I can upgrade the front housing for $300. GT30 spec ;)

Megasquirts are great! I'm setting up the boost controler mod atm. I just bought the map daddy 4 bar map sencor too. I am about to remove the motor again and upgrade the valve springs with Newman springs and chrome moly retainers. 20psi+ time hehe

Great to see your progress. I am just starting exactly what you have built. I have a 79 2 door and I am researching where to get everything I need to put Zetec turbo in. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to know how you went about getting all you bits ? Also how you went registering it. I noticed you mentioned sydney drag way, are you local to sydney area ?
