That sounds cheap for a sender. Doing a great job with it all at the moment. Liking your doing your own thing, and letting others do the technical time consuming stuff. Keep it up.

Haven't kept up with this much - but we put it in primer tonight - they tell me they'll be sanding and stuffing around most next week - them off to the spray booth

I saw this one in the flesh the other day, great gaps and attention to detail, your panel man is good at his job

I checked out this 12/71 V6 in Warrnambool the other day - it's recently been re-sprayed etc and looks clean - at first glance - but a bit of a lesson in spending time with the final sanding and prep.
All of those little lines ion the snouts of the guards etc are fudged or missing. On a closer inspection (with the sun hitting it)  u can see where all of the bog begins and ends - every panel - embarrassing if it was your car.
So in actual fact its a total re-spray and prep (very nice car still but if it was mine I couldn't live with it as it stands).

Anyway, after looking at it I was sort of glad im spending extra time on this one. I asked them to make sure all of those silly lines are back. I don't care about the bog - as long as its done well and looks as it should

the dimples on the A pillars are there

the guard lines are clean

all of that repairing panels has paid off

so Spud what are your plans when it's done?
Is this one a keeper or are you doing it to pass on to some lucky punter with deep pockets?

I'll keep it.

24k - would have been worth every penny if they had spent 3 more days on the prep - now it's worth 16 k odd....
