Those are good to have as sports filters for orig carb are impossible to find unless you like ram flow style.

You can still buy K&N sports filters from the UK on ebay for a reasonable price, the cars run much better with these in comparison to standard filter (I even had additional holes drilled underneath standard filter to get more air in but the sports filters are far superior ......

the capri came back from the sand blasters - nice and clean however the process did uncover 3 nasty spots - old repairs to the tops of the back quarters and the tail light panel was a bit off I decided to replace the tail light panel, the rear vent panel and carry out sectional repairs to both 1/4's

I used a nice tail light panel I scored on ebay from Malta the car came with a nice twin exhaust in exc condition - but the 2nd opening in the old panel was cheesy so I made a new one for the new panel

so ive sliced the old panel out- not much of the original car left - different guards, boot lid, doors, a pillars, front sub frame, sills even the boot floor needed a little repair the repairs to both 1/4's

sort of half way thru inserting the new sections - the new vent panel has surface rust but is ace (might have to get a new phone the pics are all blurry) really happy with it - the sections went in well - nice and neat - just a smear of filler - same with the tail light panel. Next ill prime the boot area, door jambs and engine bay and put them in colour - finally....

decided to do the sac religious thing and fit fibreglass guards etc to this one. Im selling them for a friend so bit the bullet. They are a great fit but you have to work to get it. No cutting of the guards - but pushing and shoving because they try to bounce back to their original profile - the way they came out of the moulds. They don't flex like steel. I had to sand the back edge off both to create a gap to the doors - which is great. .jpg) at this stage ive just plonked them on - I haven't fixed them but you can see they will work

anyway, I was reticent to fit fibreglass but the result has made me re-think the whole thing. They are easy (when compared to fixing stuffed steel up) and the result - well hopefully u wont be able to pick they are glass without really looking (and no rust)

Who made the glass panels. They look like they fit well. I had a pair on mine and managed to get a nice fit but it took alot of trimming filing and then shimming until they were right .
