pinto engine ID

Hey guys is it possible to get the build year or maybe what this engine came out of by the engine markings?

   T8

    Not sure on those numbera but the engine number is on the exhaust side of the engine just next to the Alternator.

    K - built in Sydney
    3P - 2 Dr Escort 2.0 litre
    W - 1979
    T - August
     
    This makes it an ADR27A engine, so lots of emissions hoses etc. required.

    I recognised that it was from a 2 door 2 litre Escort from the first few characters, so I just searched for the year and month identifier, which led me here:

    I haven't tried it, but there's a Windows program available that promises to make it easy to decipher all manner of Fords:
