To avoid the axle tramp without the anti tramp bars you need the leaf springs with the extra rebound leaf as well as a half reversed eye on the front and full reverse eye on the rear. Those that run this combination absolutely swear by it and as long as you have good shocks (like your billies) then you'll be good to go. Cheers, Matt

Matt Hey Matt, could you please explain what that actually means in practice? I'm pretty ignorant about suspensions, so don't know what you mean by half reversed eye etc. Thanks in advance.

I think the reverse eyes will make it too low for Rally use? I know the tarmac guys on here don't like em, but I've always run them on mine with no problems Matty. I run nylon bushes on one end and std rubber on the other. Doesn't Stephen have them?
Tar's for getting there. Dirt's for racing!

I forgot this was for a rally car so I'm not sure my advice would suit. I was thinking more along the lines for a track car. Flighter, All they do is reverse the way the leafs are made so they essentially lower the car by the height of the eye is that makes sense. They then add another leaf to the front of the spring pack to help reduce the tendancy to bind up under acceleration thus helping to prevent tramp. You also need high quality shocks to help out too. I'll see if i can find some pics of reversed eye leaf springs. Wozzah on here can sort you out if you need some I think. Matt

I have a brand new set of tramp rods and brackets. You will need to buy a set of nolethane bushes for them. $150 if you need them. gwa08756@bigpond.net.au
