Wanted: Interior Hood Lining - MK1 Van

Howdy - I am trying to find an interior hood lining for a Mk1 Van.  I believe that it only covers above the seats, not the rear of the van but if someone knows better please let me know.

I am after one to use as a pattern - so even if you have one that's a bit ripped that would be fine provided enough of it is there for copying!  Let me know what you've got - cheers!

I can't help with supplying a donor lining as mine is still in the van! Mk2 vans are the same item unless its from a Sundowner where the lining goes right back to the barn doors. Alternately find a sedan lining and add a few inches to the sides when copying to allow for the vans high roof and trim to suit

Thanks for that info martymexico - mine's not a Sundowner, but I am looking at making one that covers the entire roof.  Ideally a van one would be top so that I don't have to do too much guestimating in converting a sedan one, but I'd like to hear what people have available!

    Headlining:
You do need to have the correct headlining ribs for a van and also the plastic extensions on the ribs. A half headling as to you speak of is a cow of a thing to fit needing a heap of patience at the back section where it comes down that rear section just behind the head of the seats.
I have fitted one for a customer,I know I have the pattern somewhere as I had to have one made as a one of.
Good luck with your patience and no ripples.

Thansk for that info Jaycees - the plastic extensions are still in place above the doors, but I didn't get the rails when I bought it.
I'm thinking I might make some form of moulded lining instead of the suspended version - I've had a look through a few books and sites on linings and it seems trying to make an original-style one is one of the hardest ones to make.  I'm not going for concourse or anything so it doesn't matter if it's not exactly the same as original.
