You can use either the capri vented disks (not sure of the part #) or ones from a laser TX3, Meteor or capri (RDA101S). Do a search on http://www.dba.com.au/catalogue/online-catalogue/ for the part numbers then check out eBay. I am doing the laser ones as all that is required is to redrill the stud holes as with the capri ones you also have to machine the hubs and / or the rotors. Do a search as there is lots of info on this converison. Cheers Matt

I use the E30 BMW rotors with Volvo calipers which works well. There is a little bit of machining required but that will be the case with everything except the Capri rotors. The trade off in the Capri option is diameter as these are the same as standard escort 247mm. The BMW rotors are 260mm and the TX3 are 257mm

No mods are required to fit laser tx3 rotors on escort hubs. Been using such setup for 12 months now with no issues.

It needs to be KE 1.6l turbo TX3 laser front rotors and NOT KF,KH 1.8l turbo TX3 laser. KE = DBA101- 260mm KF,KH = DBA533 - 257mm As long as you use dba101 or equivalent it will fit without issues.

Hi guys, Do the TX3 discs and princess calipers match up? Ive been looking at the Hi-Spec Motorsports package and was thinking you could maybe save a but of money by just getting the calipers(if possible)and not the full kit with the discs included, you should save on postage as well. Then buy local to get the rest

Haven't had anything to do with the princess 4 pots but a lot of guys on the turbosport say they are hard to come by these days. The Volvo TX3 / Bmw conversion should only set you back around $500 so bang for buck it's pretty hard to beat. Check out this link that explains what is needed Cheers Matt

OK thanks, from what i gather the austen princess has 4 pot calipers and like the volvo ones are, or were a popular straight forward swap for escorts in the UK. The bloke who started Hi-Spec Motorsport started out making kits based on these, the product he make now are the same calipers but are brand new off the shelf items. They have a website im not PC clever so i cant put up a link you'll have to do it the old fashion way if you want to check them out

I had a pr of Austin Princess calipers in the 90s , sold them on for $250 , they were rare back then! I went the Volvo 4pot setup later as parts are plenty. Answering the question if they (Princess) bolt up, is yes and a spacer kit for vented rotors as usual. For monster calipers is raid a 80s Transit van front calipers, that will fit too and are huge....i mean huge !!
