Washer bottle motor.

hey guys I'm just trying to tidy the engine bay up and I want to relocate the battery and washer bottle to boot. Iv got everything ready an I know how I want to do it but before I do it I wanna know if the washer bottle motor is powerful enough to push water from the boot up to the engine bay.

Cheers.

    Hi Brandon
I dont think the standard washer motor will be strong enough. On the Rally car I run a washer pump from a BMW 5 series that is used as the headlight washer, about $15 from a BMW wrecker, plenty of pressure

    cheers

Ahhhh I see. Does that pump just go inline it do you get a whole new washer bottle?? I seen a narva water washer pump thingo at Repco. One that goes inline. Buy idk how I would rig that up to the STD escort washer bottle which I have already mounted in a neat spot in the boot... :/

Brandon, the BMW one is a stand alone unit (in line) this mount the washer bottle where you like and place the pump in line. It will draw water from the bottle evn through the existing pump lines.
