Finaly got the rs on the road(after 11 years), and got a chance to try these R1R's and they are awesome tyres considering they are only 195s.Definitely recommend others to try these.

Did you ever try the 205's? Going by the 195 would the 205's fit under the rear guards?

The offset of  the rims is a major factor, my rears are 205/15 and fit under without problem. Len

Rims are 15 x 6.5 with 50 series tyres, would have to look at the numbers stamped into it to know what the offset is.
