I'v just read through this thread with interest.  My old car features here too - white/silver 2WD Saff - pretty hard to miss with the two tone paint work.  In the list of cars given I couldn't find any mention of a car I inspected in the late ninetes (and should have bought)  I flew to Canberra to view a very late 4x4 Saff. It was owned at the time by a Canberra resident that also owned a red Escort Cossie (Graeme's car maybe??).  Anyway the Saff was great  - 4x4, white with black leather, facelift dash, Escort wheels, green top engine,  plus a few other mods.  Anyway - does anyone know of this car?  Where did it go?  I haven't heard of it since.  I also heard that Victor Chang owned one of these at the time of his death?  Any truth to this info?
Even though I don't currently own a Cossie I am keen for another and keep an eye and ear out for RS news and cars forsale.  Would love to track down this 4x4 Saff.  On the same day there was another 4x4 not quite as neat that I believe is now in Tassie??
I also remember spotting a black 4x4 with 17" and AP's for sale a number of years ago?   Anyone know of it? Anyone know of a good honest 4x4 forsale?
Regards.

I also know of some other cars in Vic.
- white 2WD Saff - lives in Benalla - Very neat and tidy original car
- white 2WD Saff - was from SA - rough around the edges - some drag racing history I believe
- Blue 2WD Saff - 17" Kahn alloys and lowered - nice looking car.  Only saw it once
- Mallard green 2WD Saff - Very clean low miles - rego was RS 0500.  Currently being fixed after minor front end collision
- Blue 4x4 - 16" alloys - had QLD rego when I saw it.
- white 3 door with blue zebra strips - 17" alloys and low.  Used to see this car around a lot in Port Melbourne.  Was well used.
- Black RS500 - used many times in Targa Tassie.  Good original car fitted with cage.
- Black RS500 and white 2WD Saff - owned buy father and son.  Saw them at Small Ford Sunday a few years ago.
- The yellow 3 door mentioned in the first list is now in QLD.  It belonged to a friend of mine who tuned and modified it.  It was fitted with an Eggenburger race engine - ex Allan Moffat cars.  Went very well!!

 - Silver 4x4 - late model with sharkstooth alloys.  Was in QLD and I believe now in SA.

I have some photos of these cars as well as classified adds that I used to keep.  If people are interested I can scan and post them here.  There may be some cars that have been missed.

So it's not a myth!  Victor Chang did have a Cosworth.  Phil - is it your car?  I'd be interested to know more about it.  Model, colour specs etc....

As for my old photos and adds I'll have a look, see what I can find and scan them in.  Stay tuned!!  Got some info but buggered if I can work out how to add the images!  Tried inserting image etc....  can't browse.  Wants "URL"???

So does anyone know of this late, white 4x4 Sapphire that once resided in Canberra??

Just need to upload the images to Photobucket or some other photo hosting site, then you can copy the URL from there and post it.

Get to it man! :)

OK.  So here's some info I have.
I'm particularly keen to know about the silver 4x4's (COS-16T and VVX-230) and the black 4x4.   Can anyone help???
The yellow 3 door is now in QLD
The 3 door OSR-001 was crashed (repairable) and sold to QLD
My old Sapphire - now in WA
The 2WD Sapphire "JEZZA" mentioned earlier was also crashed here in Melbourne.
So Phil - whats the details of the Victor Chang car?
I have some further info on the 4x4 from Canberra.  It was sold shortly after I looked at it.  Apparently now in Sydney/central coast somewhere.
Anyone know of it?  White, green top engine, black leather, facelift interior, Escort rims. Very nice car.
