First sticker on.  Learnt a lot doing this one so may need to redo it but relatively happy with it.

Cheers

In case you decide to redo them, and want to get super-original in the process, the sticker originally sat further to the right, so that the RH edge of the E is just about on the boot lid edge, and the remaining black section sits on the RH guard. Personally, I prefer it the way you did it, especially as you don't have the F O R D letters like the early cars, which limit how far left you can stick it.  Looks real sharp against the white paint too.

Yeah, I looked at putting it on as per the pic but I like the way it is now better.

I'll have a crack at the rest of them over the weekend.

Cheers

Had another crack at the stripes.  All went pretty well.  The right side front sticker was perished due to age and cracked well applying it so i'll need to get another one but other than that it's all pretty good.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi Matt,

I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on these. I looked at them when doing my front end but decided to hold off until the car is running.

Stickers look good too.

So, thee new Gaz Gold Suspension is in and all doing what it should.  It is nice and firm and can;t wait to get out on a track and give it a go.

Finally the car feels like I want it too.

Tomorrow we are off to the inaugural RSOC VIC Motorkhana in Bendigo so will be a good session to blow out dome cobwebs.

I got a 2nd set of wheels with some cheap tyres so I don't feel guilty ruining a good set.

Cheers

Matt

The Bendigo Motorkhana was an absolute blast.  Car behaved very well but lack of LSD and a not so good handbrake made the tight turns a little hard but was a great deal of fun anyway.

Even though the suspension is very hard it soaks up the bumps very well and aside from my race seat not having much padding, (something I suffer from too) and being uncomfortable for long drives, was very predictable.

Here's a few pics.  I put some vids up on the RSOC VIC Site too.

Cheers

Matt

Awesome stuff Matt.
Great to see the sorted and now being used. And even better that there were no issues. That makes it a great first event!

I have posted some vids on the RSOC website but don't have any of myself.

Had a ball though.

We are entering 2 teams to the AROCA 6 Hour Relay at Winton in Oct so I am hoping to get in a few track days before then.

Cheers,

Matt
