Hi Mate, They are the over flow pipes. You can tee them together and connect them to the fuel return line to the tank or just leave them as is. I chose to leave them as is as I didn't want heaps of hoses everywhere. They are also made from soft rubber to so getting a good seal may be a PITA. In all the readups I have read everyone leaves them as is. What carbs on what engine are you using? Cheers, Matt

Thanks for that Matt, Going to run R1 Carbs on Silver top Zetec. Currently making inlet manifold, engine mounts and extractors. Have to have the engine sitting in place by end of April as national laws are about to change which will inevitably make it harder to compliance after this date. Dave

Yep, Just gotta bleed the brakes and then it's done. I need to get my priorities in order as I have been spending most of my time fishing down at our holiday house in Wilsons Prom. Cheers Matt Here's a few that didn't get away.

Yep King George Whiting are pretty hard to beat for their fighting qualities but especially how nice they taste. Most are over 44cm's too which is pretty big for Vic waters. Cheers Matt

Hey Paul, You really can't lose catchng either fish. Whiting put up a better fight pound for pound but as to which tastes better you can make a great argument either way. Mind you, you guys in SA get some monster Whiting. Best thing I have found is to just catch both. Both are easy to fillet but Whiting don't have the bloody spikes. Here's a pic of us out on the water at 6am just after dawn with Shallow Inlet looking like a mill pond. Best time of day for sure! Sorry for the crap pics. Cheers Matt

Springs now all fitted and I am liking the stance a lot more than previous. I'll get some pics up soon once I wash it. Even though I have installed the kill switch I was still thinking about what would happen if I rolled or was knocked out and couldn't turnoff the kill switch. So after some research I decided to buy a tachometric relay so the fuel pump only has power when the engine is running so if I crash the fuel pump stop when the engine stalls. It's a pretty clever little thing that will come one for 2 seconds once ignition is on to prime the fuel pump. It is designed for LPG setups. Very simple - 1 wire to negative coil. 1 to fuel pump & 1 to constant power. The mounting bolt is also the ground too. Cheers Matt

Got it back on the ground after sorting out a few little things. Here's a few pics of the new stance. Much better I think. I may neeed to roll the rear gurards as it sits so low now I just want a bit of extra insurance. So aside from the new engine being built (ETA - late 2013) that is pretty much it. I now need to speak to few guys from my Car Club (RSOC VIC) on what's the best way to get into racing and where to do my first event. Cheers, Matt
