Finished he engine bay last weekend with my fancy new alloy radiator from RACE RADIATORS. These guys were great, even allowing me to bring it home and test fit it before finishing the mounts completely. From this i was able to push it 10mm further forward at the bottom and 25mm at the top. I have reversed the step in the lower radiator support similar to on a factory 2 litre MK2 shell but also when the previous owner fitted the 2 litre they cut too much out of the slam panel. Now the radiator fills the gap nicely.
Yesterday GeeTee came over and fitted the MK1 RS2000 stripes. I hope you will agree but just looking at it now makes the front of the old pantaloons stick out a little further than normal ...
Thanks GeeTee, your work and timing on this is hugely appreciated!
Now for the pics ....

Ive been doing a heap of little things to finish the car off before its track debut at Philip Island on April 9th.
The rear suspension is now all complete with brand new Fulcrum leafs that are reverse eyed on the rear and centre eyed on the fronts. They are rated to 150 pound which should balance well with the 250 pound coil overs on the front.
The rear shocks are GAZ externally adjustables and it has comp Bilsteins in the front.
On the weekend i finished installing the watts linkage set up which was made by Wozzah from shortened XF falcon linkages with a custom made bracket.
Its off for a wheel alignment tomorrow then its pretty much ready to rock and roll.
