Escort Gearbox crossmember - T9 Auto Tunnel

Fitting a T9 into my Mk1 Escort using an auto tunnel. I require the correct gearbox crossmember for fitment. I believe this is either an Escort auto one or Capri (I think????).

Anybody help me out or have any details on making one from scratch?

    I have a mk2 auto crossmeber in my Mk2 RS with type 9,all very neat

    i used the std mk1 auto g/box mount but welded 15mm spacers on , i think the holes need drilling 10mm further forwards....not much anyway

    between welding in a new (read old rusted) auto tunnel and having pulled off, derusted, plated then refitted that auto tunnel's mounts mine may well be a few mm out anyway. your 10mm may turn out to be more (or less). Cheers
