I'm after some capri hubs after purchasing some struts.

Thanks, Shaun

Mk1/2 Cortina hubs take the same bearings and will fit, however you will need Mk2 GT Cortina hubs to get the same offset as capri.

    Hmmm...

That's what I originally thought Paul.
I knew of the difference between mk1/2 but was unaware GT were different?

Have a few spare MK2 cory hubs so will dig them out and give them a try. Will the mounting face be pushed further out of be closer to the strut? If it is further it wouldbe preferable....

Standard Cortina hubs will be 10mm closer to the strut.

Does anyone know what bearings fit these alloy hubs, when putting them onto Mk2 Escort 2L struts? His website says "Bearings needed are Timken cone 15580 and cup 15520", I have these ones, but there is and inner and an outer so don't I need another set?

You can buy a kit that does the inner, outer bearings and seal. MK1 Capri. I have the box at home if you need the part number. its cheaper to do the kit than each bearing.

They use different bearings when going on to 2L struts. I need to get time to get into a bearing place to find out what the inner set is.
